Job summary

Otter Vets in Sidmouth, Devon, is seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon for a full-time position. You will take the reins of a busy small animal practice, lead a capable team, and shape its future with clinical leadership and development opportunities.

The role offers up to £80,000 DOE, with relocation up to £5,000 and a welcome bonus up to £5,000, plus options to pursue certificates and professional growth within the Otter Vets network.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon with registration in the UK.
• Experience mentoring colleagues is valued.
• Vet GDP qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sidmouth practice and oversee daily clinical operations.
• Balance consultations and surgeries with a focus on team development.
• Mentor and support a multi-disciplinary team across the practice.
• Develop areas of clinical interest and pursue certificates if desired.
• Collaborate with sister sites and Otter Vets network for cases and best practices.
