Job summary

Otter Vets in Sidmouth, Devon, is seeking an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon for small animal practice. You will lead a dedicated team, shape clinical direction and develop your own interests with support from our wider Otter team.

This full-time role offers a 40-hour week (4 or 5 days) with no out-of-hours, a friendly caseload of cats and dogs, and access to modern diagnostics. Salary up to £80,000 DOE, relocation up to £5,000 and welcome bonus up to £5,000.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical experience and leadership skills.
• Mentoring colleagues is valued; Vet GDP qualification advantageous.
• Opportunity to pursue a certificate with support from the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the veterinary team and clinical direction for small animal cases.
• Balance consultations and surgeries with dedicated admin time.
• Collaborate with sister site and Otter team for complex cases.
