Job summary

Tesco Mobile is seeking a UX Designer to lead the end-to-end design process, from problem definition to delivery, applying design thinking and a user-centered approach. You will plan and conduct user research, translate insights into problem statements, flows and design concepts, and create wireframes and high-fidelity designs in Figma.

You'll work with Product, Engineering and Delivery teams to ensure feasible, accessible solutions that deliver value.

• Translate research into problem statements, flows and design concepts.
• Create and iterate wireframes and high-fidelity designs in Figma.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX work from problem definition to delivery, applying a strong design thinking approach.
• Plan and carry out user research and discovery activities, using qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Translate research into clear problem statements, experience principles, user flows and design concepts.
• Create and iterate wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs using Figma; plan, run and analyse usability testing.
• Work with design systems, applying components and contributing improvements.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Delivery to ensure feasible, inclusive designs.
• Advocate for the user and accessibility throughout the design process.
• Present work clearly to stakeholders and contribute to UX practice improvements.
