Job summary

Kainos is seeking an experienced User Researcher (Consultant) to deliver actionable insights and shape user-centered service experiences. You will advocate for needs-based design, support coaching of team members, and collaborate across client teams to guide research strategies throughout the project lifecycle.

You will contribute to our growing Experience Design capability, helping to create digital services that positively impact millions.

Qualifications

• Lead, plan, develop and conduct research activities with appropriate methods.
• Expert knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Understand information architecture, interaction design and visual design principles.
• Collaborate with client teams to deliver research plans and strategies.
• Design and lead workshops across project lifecycle.
• Represent user research across the organisation.
• Ability to coach and develop senior team members.
• Strong communication at all levels and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver actionable insights to define service experiences and user needs.
• Coach and develop staff within the user research team.
• Advocate for needs-based design, design thinking and service design.
