ICL Group in Tees Valley is seeking an Electrical Operations Engineer to own electrical engineering activities at our Tees Dock operation. This leadership role involves guiding a skilled team, shaping engineering strategy and supporting the global supply chain of the world’s only Polyhalite mine.

You will drive safety, reliability, innovation and continuous improvement across critical plant and equipment, delivering business improvements and mentoring engineers to raise performance.

Qualifications

• This role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Chartered Engineer status or active pursuit of chartership.
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage control and automation in conveyor-based operations.
• Experience in maintenance and asset reliability improvement.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a team of electrical technicians with coaching and guidance.
• Champion a strong safety culture and maintain high engineering standards.
• Drive asset reliability by developing and maintaining maintenance strategies.
• Identify and implement innovative technologies to improve safety and efficiency.
• Deliver improvement projects to optimise operations and reduce electrical risk.
• Manage capital investment proposals and support project delivery, safely, on time and within budget.
• Act as a technical leader setting professional standards and promoting continuous improvement.
