Job summary

Bentley Motors Limited, a British luxury automotive brand, seeks a senior UI Design Lead to shape premium digital experiences across products. You will own visual design direction, lead a design system, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand-aligned interfaces.

You will mentor designers, drive accessibility, and contribute to VW Group UI initiatives, delivering exceptional, scalable user experiences.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable expertise in UI and HMI design with a strong portfolio.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite for high-fidelity interfaces.
• Strong portfolio showing brand-aligned digital interfaces and measurable UX improvements.
• Proven experience leading UI design projects from concept through implementation.
• Experience developing, implementing, or maintaining design systems or component libraries.
• Proven stakeholder management and presentation skills with senior stakeholders.
• Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of high-quality UI solutions across Bentley’s products, ensuring visual excellence and usability.
• Develop, maintain, and champion Bentley’s UI Design System and guidelines to drive consistency.
• Define and evolve digital interface design direction aligned with Bentley’s brand strategy.
• Lead the UI Design Forum to foster collaboration and governance.
• Represent Bentley in Volkswagen Group UI initiatives and align with group standards.
• Champion UI design capability through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, and Technology teams to deliver accessible interfaces.
• Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders to influence decisions.
