Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate Transport Planner to join our Birmingham Transport Planning team. Based in our Birmingham office, you will lead delivery of transport planning projects from concept through to completion and mentor junior team members.

You will build strong client relationships, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage programmes and budgets, and contribute to business development while advancing low‑carbon transport solutions for

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading transport planning projects in land development or infrastructure.
• Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and project delivery capabilities.
• Degree in Transport Planning, Engineering, Geography or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of transport planning projects from development through to completion.
• Prepare and oversee Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and modelling work.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Manage projects, programmes and budgets.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support business development.
