Job summary

Ampa Holdings LLP is looking for an Associate or Associate Director Transport Planner to join their team in Birmingham. This role offers the chance to lead transport planning projects and mentor junior staff while working in a dynamic consultancy environment.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in transport planning, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively. This position also offers hybrid working arrangements, providing flexibility in your work patterns.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in the transport planning industry.
• Excellent technical and design skills as well as report writing skills.
• Use of AutoCAD, TRICS, JUNCTIONS and LINSIG modelling software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from a transport planning perspective.
• Review Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and Feasibility Studies.
• Provide high level advice to clients at project inception and throughout the project duration.
• Attend client meetings and public consultations.
• Contribute towards winning work.
