Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote)

We are looking for an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between home working and onsite presence.

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team contributing to the nation's critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs for complex signalised junctions and crossings, including specifications
• Provide technical oversight on new product and service ideas, and plan new designs
• Prepare complex MOVA Designs and Datasets
• Ensure compliance with standards like TSRGD, DMRB, and Traffic Signs Manual
• Validate MOVA systems for complex junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Profile:

Experience in designing signalised junctions and crossings, seeking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role with a fresh perspective on existing solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, AutoTURN
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller
• Familiarity with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
• Knowledge of LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
