Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote)

We're looking for an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across a range of high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between home working and onsite presence for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

What you’ll do: Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer:

• Undertake on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs for complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, including specifications
• Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and design plans
• Prepare complex MOVA Designs and MOVA Datasets
• Ensure compliance with standards like TSRGD, DMRB, and Traffic Signs Manual
• Undertake MOVA Validations of junctions and roundabouts

Who you are:

The ideal candidate has experience designing signalised junctions and crossings and seeks to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role, bringing a fresh perspective to Traffic Signal Design solutions.

Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, AutoTURN
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Familiarity with MOVA Tools, Datasets, and Linking
• Knowledge of LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
