Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a high‑level leader to head Portfolio Risk & Analytics for GTS UK. The role spans London, Birmingham, Manchester or Worthing with hybrid work options and will oversee data-driven risk insights for Global Trade Solutions.

You will own risk monitoring, analytics projects and reporting enhancements, collaborating across Finance, Compliance and Frontline teams to enable risk‑based growth while delivering value to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Trade Finance and Receivables Finance Solutions.
• Experience delivering data/analytics projects.
• Ability to make prompt, practical decisions under ambiguity.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio risk monitoring and MI, identifying trends and supporting frontline teams.
• Lead strategic projects to enable risk‑based growth at a national level.
• Oversee risk data/reporting enhancements for RF via the IFAI modernisation project.
• Own risk review meeting packs with accurate, decision‑ready reporting.
• Enhance risk measurement/reporting frameworks/tools to support growth.
• Identify and investigate emerging risks, escalating for mitigation.
• Provide data/analysis to Finance and regulatory reporting, including impairments.
• Drive operational improvements to strengthen risk management and client experience.
