Job summary

Circle Health Group’s Chelsfield Park Hospital in Kent is seeking a Lead Theatre Practitioner. This full-time role covers 37.5 hours weekly, with a flexible shift pattern including weekends and on-call.

You will lead theatre teams, ensure safety checks, and mentor junior colleagues while promoting high standards of care. Applicants should be NMC/HCPC registered with theatre leadership experience, and hold essential qualifications such as ENB 998/ILS and an approved anaesthetic course.

Qualifications

• Experience in a theatre environment (scrub, recovery, or anaesthetics).
• Demonstrated clinical leadership and ability to mentor peers.
• Knowledge of patient safety protocols and clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care across the perioperative pathway.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision for theatre staff.
• Support development and assessment of team competencies.
• Mentor junior staff and trainees; drive continuous professional development.
