Job summary

Trinitatum Ltd seeks a Lead Tester to lead automated testing efforts using the Triangle Test Automation product. The role is hybrid with regular travel to Central London, collaborating with testers, developers and stakeholders across scrum teams.

You will implement and customise the Triangle solution, perform hands-on test design and reporting, and lead test resources while aligning E2E test and release processes with best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with test automation and leadership in a testing context.
• Proficiency in SpecFlow, API testing, SQL, Git and Azure Pipelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in Energy Trading or Capital Markets.
• BSc in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Job title Lead Tester

Location Hybrid – Regular travel to Central London

Role description As the Lead Tester, you will provide leadership, team support and hands-on expertise for the design, execution, and maintenance of automated tests using the Triangle Test Automation product.

You will work closely with testers, developers and stakeholders within assigned scrum teams covering the trade life cycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing and customising the Triangle Test Automation product.
• Hands-on automated test design, execution and reporting.
• Leadership and support to test resources.
• Best practice and standards guidance E2E test and release process integration.

Reporting responsibilities

Reporting to the Test Manager.

Requirements

• Desire to remain technically hands-on.
• Experience of team leadership and standards governance.
• Proficiency in SpecFlow (Reqnroll), API testing, SQL, GIT and Azure Pipelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive approach to problem solving.
• Experience in Energy Trading or Capital Markets.
• BSc in Computer Science or related field.

Additional skills & experience

• Experience in Python, Data Testing or .NET.
• Experience in testing Event or Message buses of test data, batches and pipelines (e.g., YAML, JSON or XML file configuration).
• Bash and Powershell scripting.
• Experience in performance, stress and security testing.
