Job summary

DWP Digital is seeking a Lead Test Engineer to shape testing across its Data & Analytics services, ensuring quality in cloud-native data platforms and APIs. You’ll lead testing strategy, mentor engineers and drive automation across delivery teams to deliver reliable data solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading testing across multiple teams and defining testing strategies for data platforms.
• Experience designing functional and non-functional testing (performance, accessibility, integration) for APIs and data services.
• Proven success mentoring Test Engineers and driving engineering excellence.
• Expert-level Python-based test automation in cloud CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Set testing strategy and quality standards across Data & Analytics services.
• Lead, coach and develop test engineers embedded in agile delivery teams.
• Champion automation, continuous testing, and quality by design.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects and Engineering to shape testing decisions.
