Job summary

West Midlands and Worcestershire Perm Hub is seeking a Temporary Office & Professional Recruitment Consultant to lead a growing desk in Birmingham City Centre. You will win new business, nurture client relationships and build a robust pool of temporary candidates while delivering on targets across the West Midlands.

The role offers uncapped bonus/commission, full training and clear progression within a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Experience in temporary recruitment.
• Ability to win new business and develop clients.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organised with ability to manage multiple vacancies.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of and grow the Temporary Office & Professional recruitment desk.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Identify and win new business across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
• Make proactive sales calls and cold approaches to prospective clients.
• Arrange client visits, meetings and business development activity.
• Understand and manage clients’ temporary recruitment requirements.
• Source, interview and place candidates into temporary Office & Professional positions.
• Build and maintain a strong database of reliable temporary candidates.
• Manage temporary workers throughout their assignments and maintain strong engagement.
• Handle bookings, timesheets and day‑to‑day temporary workforce requirements.
• Build long‑term relationships with clients and candidates.
• Identify opportunities to increase business within existing accounts.
• Maintain a high level of compliance across all temporary placements.
• Resolve client and candidate issues quickly and professionally.
• Work towards and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the Birmingham temporary division.
