Job summary

PHOENIX Medical Supplies Ltd. at Runcorn Depot is seeking a qualified Lead Technician to head a multi-skilled maintenance team, plan and schedule activities, supervise external contractors and report to the Engineering Manager.

Based at the Runcorn Depot, you will oversee automation and facility systems, ensure safety audits, and contribute to national team training. The role includes opportunities for technical and leadership development and a contributory pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Minimum recognised Level 3 engineering, electrical, or mechanical qualification.
• Proven experience managing a maintenance department.
• Experience working with automated conveyor systems.
• Experience fault finding within electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule maintenance for automation and facility systems.
• Supervise external contractors on site.
• Conduct security auditing and risk reviews.
• Plan resource allocation and maintenance budgets.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders.

Lead Technician

40 hours per week

£48,276.8 per annum

We're looking for a qualified and experienced Maintenance Technician to come join us, based at our Runcorn Depot. Reporting into the Engineering Manager, your overall responsibility will be lead a multi-skilled team of technicians, plan and schedule maintenance activities, liaise with and supervise external contractors, review and update daily/weekly/monthly reports. The role may offer opportunities for technical and leadership training, along with supporting the national team.

• Scheduling maintenance for Automation and Facility systems

• Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to key stakeholders

What makes you tick

• M inimum recognised Level 3 engineering, electrical, or mechanical qualification.

• Experience fault finding within electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Desirable qualifications: IOSH or NEBOSH.
