Join to apply for the Lead Technical Architect role at CACI | Healthcare Insights Group.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join our Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist technical consultancy. The role involves designing and overseeing cloud infrastructure solutions, primarily on AWS, with a focus on security, microservices, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Java.

Location: You can work from any of our UK offices (Bristol, Cheltenham, London) or from home, with regular visits to London required.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing cloud-based systems using AWS, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Developing security architectures ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Overseeing containerisation with Kubernetes and messaging frameworks with Kafka.
• Leading microservices development and providing technical mentorship.
• Ensuring architecture compliance with regulations like GDPR and HIPAA.
• Championing automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies with business goals.
• Optimising performance and costs of cloud resources.

Candidate requirements:

• Proven experience in large-scale cloud system design, especially on AWS.
• Strong expertise in cloud security, containerisation, Kafka, Java, CI/CD, and IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Excellent leadership, communication skills, and ability to mentor teams.
• Able to obtain high-level security clearance (British citizen, UK residency for 5 years).
