Longthorpe Primary Academy is seeking a Lead TA (Class Cover) to provide effective classroom cover for planned and unplanned teacher absence, helping pupils to make strong progress and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.

The role is permanent, term-time +1 week, 35 hours a week, Mon-Fri 08:15 - 15:45. Salary £26,635 - £32,761 (Actual prorata). Applications from all backgrounds are welcome.

Formación

• Minimum 5 GCSEs including English and Maths.
• Experience planning and leading teaching and learning activities.
• Ability to meet a range of learning needs and support inclusion for all pupils.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver planned learning activities and provide high-quality cover across the school.
• Work with whole classes, small groups, and individual pupils including those with SEND and EAL.
• Support pupil learning, wellbeing and independence through specialist skills and training.
• Contribute to planning, preparation and assessment, and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
• Support implementation of behaviour strategies in line with school policy.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and external professionals.
• Assist with monitoring and recording pupil progress using assessment techniques.
• Participate in training, CPD and school meetings.
