Job summary

Stafford Leys Primary School, part of Bradgate Education Partnership, is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis. The role covers 32.5 hours per week term time plus inset, with a 8:30am–3:30pm pattern, supporting pupils and teachers across the school.

The ideal candidate will hold the HLTA qualification (or equivalent), have classroom experience, and be able to support pupils with SEND while contributing to learning progression.

Qualifications

• Holds the HLTA qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience working in a classroom environment.
• Experience of supporting SEND in an educational setting.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Motivated and able to contribute to a successful school team.

Responsibilities

• Provide teaching and learning support to pupils and teachers.
• Predominantly teach whole classes across year groups and support groups or 1:1 with SEND pupils.
• Contribute to progression of learning and outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high quality education.
