CMS2 is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership within maritime defence engineering. You will manage a team delivering complex submarine systems, guiding architecture, requirements, testing and verification while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will engage with stakeholders, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to technical governance across programmes. A strong background in regulated, safety-critical environments is essential.

Formación

• Degree or equivalent in Systems, Mechanical, Chemical or related engineering field.
• Chartered Engineer status or in progress is preferred.
• Proven experience applying systems engineering across complex programmes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead systems engineering activities across full lifecycle from concept to in-service support.
• Oversee requirements management with traceability and alignment to customer needs.
• Lead architecture, design and analysis activities for mission-critical systems.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices across engineering functions.
• Interface with customers and suppliers, supporting programme planning and delivery.
