Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Principal Systems Safety Engineer / Safety Engineering Lead in Bristol for hybrid working. You will lead a team of safety engineers, contribute to technical delivery, and shape safety integration across maritime defence systems.

You will provide direction on hazard analyses, safety cases, and risk assessment, while ensuring safety practices influence product development and certification processes. Strong leadership and domain knowledge are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Strong background in systems safety or product safety.
• Experience applying safety engineering to complex equipment and systems.
• Ability to lead and mentor other engineers.
• Understanding of safety engineering within systems development and certification.
• Familiar with safety standards, ideally Defence Standard 00-056.
