Job summary

Almac Group in Craigavon is seeking a hands‑on leader to head and mentor a team of Systems Analysts across levels, delivering solution design and functional specifications for Almac Information Services.

You will drive a quality deliverable throughout the software development lifecycle, coach staff, foster collaboration, and align delivery with regulatory requirements in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the UK with no restrictions OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full‑time employment in the UK.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• Significant’ experience in a Systems Analysis, Business Analysis or related analytical role.
• Experience of software delivery activities within a GxP / pharmaceutical / other regulated environment.
• Demonstrable experience of leading, supervising or line‑managing a team of analysts or related professionals.
• A record of being able to coach and mentor other team members to get the best from them.
• Experience of contributing to strategy, KPIs and continuous improvement of an analytical function.
• Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to communicate functional and technical information and ideas clearly and concisely to non‑technical staff at all levels.
• Experience working with commercial off the shelf solutions and vendor engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Systems Analysts at various levels to deliver design and functional specs across the lifecycle.
• Motivate and inspire the team by fostering clear communication and collaborative bonds.
• Ensure a high‑quality deliverable throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Coach and mentor team members to maximise performance and development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and management to drive strategy, KPIs and continuous improvement across the analytical function.
