Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of environmental management and ISO 14001 standards.
• Proven leadership experience within large construction or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders and producing reports.
• Membership with recognised environmental professional bodies such as CIEEM, CIWEM or ISEP.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance of the project's Environmental Management System (EMS).
• Lead environmental audits, investigations, and reporting to ensure best practice and legal compliance.
• Drive carbon reduction strategies and support BREEAM certification processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, supply chain, and project teams to embed sustainability into delivery.
• Monitor environmental performance, manage risks, and promote innovative environmental solutions.
