Job summary

Kier Group in Suffolk is seeking a Lead Surveyor to join the Sizewell C team. You will manage all technical surveying on the civil engineering package, reporting to the Chief Engineer within the Technical Delivery Team.

The role requires a degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Surveying, proven civil project experience, and proficiency with CAD software and modern surveying instruments. You will collaborate with engineers, site managers and subcontractors to deliver accurate drawings and

Qualifications

Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
Demonstrable experience in a similar civil engineering surveying role.
Proficiency in surveying and CAD software to produce technical docs.
Experience with modern survey equipment (GPS/GNSS and total stations).

Responsibilities

Undertaking setting out for civil engineering works (earthworks, drainage, highways, structures).
Establishing and maintaining survey control points, grids, and benchmarks.
Carrying out topographical, as-built, and monitoring surveys; processing data and drawings/reports.
Operating and maintaining surveying instruments and ensuring quality standards.
Liaising with engineers, site managers and subcontractors to support project delivery.
