Job summary

Best Lives Limited is seeking a Lead Support Worker in Preston to oversee daily operations of a supported living location. You will supervise staff, manage rosters, and ensure staff deliver person-centred care while building relationships with clients and helping them lead meaningful lives in the community.

The role is on-site, permanent and full-time, with a clear focus on documentation, supervision, and fostering independent living for service users.

Qualifications

• Carry out supervisions and annual appraisals for each staff member and identify training needs on an annual basis.
• Ensure all clients have a person centred plan within one month of coming into the service.
• Organise the rota for all support staff within the property.
• Help people to maintain and develop relationships of their choice.
• Enable people we support lead full and purposeful lives in the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day running of the location house and ensure documentation is kept up to date.
• Supervise staff and conduct annual appraisals, identifying training needs.
• Manage staff rotas and organise activities to support service users' relationships.
