Job summary

Dimensions is seeking a Lead Support Worker in Colchester, Essex, to lead a team and deliver person-centred support across five homes. You’ll coach colleagues, use Activate and Active Support approaches, and work with Locality management to drive continuous improvement while ensuring high-quality care.

You’ll be responsible for personal care, daily routines, and encouraging independence while maintaining a safe, respectful home environment. Weekend and bank holiday shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and empathy to support people to live independently.
• Excellent communication and ability to coach colleagues.
• Reliable and flexible to cover shifts including weekends/bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver person-centred support.
• Coach and mentor support workers to share best practice.
