Job summary

Dimensions in Weymouth is seeking a Lead Support Worker to join our team. This role requires a Full UK Driving Licence and own car, and a 37.5-hour week on a rota. Pay starts at £14.45 per hour and will rise to £14.94 per hour from 1 October 2026.

Sleep-in shifts pay £50 per night and there are alternate weekends. The Lead Support Worker will lead by example across homes, ensure person-centred support, and supervise colleagues.

About the Role

Working accross multiple seetings in the Weymouth area. Reporting to Registered Locality Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the homes, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support is consistently delivered.

You will:

• Lead by example to deliver outstanding support
• Empower the people we support to live fulfilling, independent lives
• Support colleagues through supervisions and 1-2-1s
• Work collaboratively with the management team
• Occasionally support with off-rota administrative tasks
• Be flexible to work across other homes within the locality if required

Working Pattern:

Mixture of shifts:7:00am – 2:30pm & 2:30pm – 10:00pm

Sleep-in shifts required (£50 per night) and alternate weekends

About You

We’re looking for someone who:
