As a Lead Support Worker, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support while providing day-to-day guidance and leadership to your team. Working closely with your Locality Manager and Assistant Locality Manager, you'll help ensure excellent support outcomes whilst fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
This is a rewarding opportunity that combines hands‑on support with leadership responsibilities. You'll champion best practice, mentor colleagues, share your knowledge and help drive continuous improvement across the service.
Using person‑centred approaches such as
Active Support and
Activate, you'll enable people to develop their independence, achieve personal goals and make meaningful choices about their everyday lives. You'll also support with daily living tasks including personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, household tasks and accessing the local community.
Building positive relationships with families, healthcare professionals and wider support networks will be an important part of the role, ensuring the people we support receive consistent, high-quality support.
You'll be supporting a gentleman in his twenties with learning disabilities and autism in his home in Weymouth.
This is a highly rewarding role where you'll help him live a fulfilling and meaningful life, encouraging independence, building confidence and supporting him to enjoy the activities and experiences that are important to him.
