Lead Support Worker - Cheltenham

Join our team as a Lead Support Worker in Cheltenham! This full-time, permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week, a pay rate of £13.21 per hour (salary £26,645 per annum), and excellent benefits including a Health Cash Plan.

About the Role

As a Lead Support Worker (Coordinator), you will support customers with complex needs to develop skills for independent living. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Creating and implementing support plans with customers.
  2. Supporting young people with daily activities such as cooking, shopping, budgeting, and tenancy maintenance.
  3. Carrying out risk assessments, setting goals, and reviewing progress.
  4. Engaging in meaningful conversations and building relationships.

  • Experience in creating person-centered support plans and supporting colleagues.
  • Ability to coordinate and assess customer referrals.

Team and Work Environment

You will work with Debbie, our Senior Client Service Manager, and a passionate team dedicated to supporting young people. The role involves flexible working hours within a rota, with opportunities for training and team meetings. Technology skills are essential, and an Enhanced DBS check will be required.
