Job summary

SER Limited in Swindon is seeking a Lead/ Supervising Building Services Engineer for a large static site. The role will require hands-on expertise in Electrical or Mechanical building services maintenance with leadership responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has strong health and safety knowledge, plus experience as a supervising engineer. A UK driving licence is preferred for site travel and on-site duties.

We are looking for a highly skilled building Services Engineer for a Lead position based on a large static site in the Swindon area.

This Lead Engineer will be technical in either Electrical or Mechanical building services maintenance, with a hands on attitude.

They will also have the responsibility of dealing with:

• Tool boxtalks with the client
• Planning the on siteengineers and materials
• Sign off Risk Assessments
• Dealing with all Method Statements
• Managing the sub contractors
• Technical support to the client and engineers
• Internal Audits of the sub contractorsand on siteengineers
• Attend client meetings to provide technical support to the managers

The right person for this position will already have a strong building services maintenance background and already has experience as a supervising engineer. They need to have a very strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.

We need this engineer to be either a qualified electrician preferably with test and inspect or a mechanical engineer with an NVQ mechanical qualification (not plumbing)

This is an on site position, however we would prefer this person to have a full UK driving licence to travel around the site.

• Basic salary based on a 40 hourweek
