Job summary

SCS JV is seeking a Sub Agent to lead a defined section of the Earthworks & Structures package at West Ruislip, London. You will oversee earthworks, drainage, landscaping, fencing and precast installations, coordinating site teams and subcontractors to deliver on time, within budget and to the required standards.

Reporting to the Agent, you will craft short-term plans, monitor progress, manage interfaces, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across HS2 London Tunnels works.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe delivery of earthworks, drainage, landscaping, fencing and precast installations.
• Plan and coordinate construction activities to meet programme, cost and safety targets.
• Manage Site Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors to deliver milestones.
• Develop short‑term programmes and monitor progress.
• Ensure resources (labour, plant, materials, subcontractors) are planned and managed.
• Promote health and safety culture across the site and comply with requirements.
• Review RAMS, permits and construction documentation for quality and compliance.
• Support commercial activities including forecasting, progress reporting and change management.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and constraints.
• Maintain accurate site records and ensure handover per procedures.
