Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Structured Cabling Engineer to supervise copper and fibre installations on a major Guildford infrastructure project. You will lead on-site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role is a day-rate contract with 40 hours per week, 7:30–16:30, commutable from surrounding areas. UK-based telecoms/data provider project, long-term stability.

Qualifications

• Strong background in structured cabling and data infrastructure.
• Experience supervising engineers or site teams on large projects.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise structured cabling and infrastructure installations.
• Oversee copper and fibre installation and testing.
• Manage engineers and subcontractors and conduct site surveys.
