Job summary

FM Conway Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead structural and highways projects across London and the South East. You’ll manage from inception to completion, coordinating design, procurement and construction while ensuring safety, quality and value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing structures, highways or term maintenance projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, resource management, commercial controls and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience delivering NEC contracts is essential; JCT contracts favourable.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, management and successful delivery of structural and highways projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Coordinate with pre-contracts team on PQQs and tenders, advising on buildability and safety documentation.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and programmes, providing up-to-date financial data throughout the lifecycle.
• Manage design development to ensure practical, buildable solutions compliant with specifications.
• Ensure projects are resourced with plant, labour, materials and subcontractors.
• Coordinate road space applications, permits and statutory approvals throughout delivery.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, pre-start meetings and contract documentation with the commercial team.
• Monitor project performance for safety, quality, commercial and contractual compliance.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors and internal teams.
