Job summary

Join AECOM’s Water team as a Lead Structural Engineer in the UK, based in an office with a flexible hybrid working model. Lead design across a portfolio of water projects, mentor team members, and ensure quality and timely delivery through coordination with civil, mechanical, electrical, and process engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil/structural engineering with strong design background.
• Membership or progress towards ICE/IStructE.
• Experience delivering robust structural solutions in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Proficiency in structural design using applicable standards and specs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical excellence in design of heavy civil structures and water-related facilities.
• Lead and oversee detailed design activities and prepare designs.
• Lead the design team and mentor colleagues to develop skills.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and deliver value.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Prepare and review drawings, calculations, specifications and reports.
