Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Bristol is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead project delivery on architecturally led buildings. This permanent role offers hybrid working and a salary between £50,000 and £60,000, with 25 days holiday and flexible hours.

You will mentor junior colleagues, manage client relationships and drive business development, while ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, Eurocodes and UK standards. A relevant degree and chartered status (or route) are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil, structural or architectural engineering is required.
• Chartered or on route to chartered status.
• Experience in design environments for building structures.
• Solid understanding of Building Regulations and design codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects from concept to construction.
• Manage project delivery and timelines.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, architects on project needs.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure compliance with Building Regulations, Eurocodes and UK standards.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and support their professional growth.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
