Optimus Plus is seeking an experienced Lead Structural Engineer for Aberdeen or Glasgow to join on a full-time, on-going contract. The role requires a chartered engineer with strong leadership and detail-design experience in the energy sector.
You will act as focal point for engineering activities, oversee scope input, and coordinate with project teams. Opportunities to travel on/offshore and develop others are offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Optimus Plus are looking for an experienced Lead Structural Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen or Glasgow on a full-time, on-going contract basis. Our ideal candidate would be a chartered engineer with significant previous experience in a Lead position. This role is required to assist with various activities of our structural department, including client focal point, managing detailed design scopes and acting as deputy to the Head of Department.

We’d like you to have a degree in a relevant subject and significant previous experience in detail design with an understanding of other disciplines. You need to have experience and an interest in working with AutoDesk products and will have experience in managing and developing others.
There will be the opportunity to work in other locations, both on and offshore so candidates may need you to travel and hold the relevant certification to do so.
