Job summary

RSE is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our in-house Design team on a permanent basis in the UK. You will lead design activities across projects, ensuring compliance with client specs and current regulatory standards.

You will liaise with clients, produce designs, compile specifications and reports, and deliver outputs within agreed timescales while upholding QA procedures. A driving licence and solid communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience with structural steelwork, connections and detailing.
• Knowledge of BS and Eurocodes.
• Ability to perform stress/deflection analyses by hand and FEM.
• Knowledge of piping systems is a plus.
• Good IT skills and familiarity with design tools.
• Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
