ITSS Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Lead SQL Developer in Leeds with hands-on SQL Server expertise and leadership responsibilities. The role focuses on data warehousing, ETL processes and modern data platform technologies, guiding a team of BI Developers, DBAs and SQL Developers.

• Strong experience across SQL Server, ETL, Data warehousing and modern data platform technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft stack and modern data tooling is required.
• Ability to lead a team of BI Developers, DBAs and SQL Developers and drive projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across BI Developers, DBAs and SQL Developers.
• Lead and mentor the data team on SQL, ETL and data warehousing initiatives.
• Drive projects from concept through to delivery with senior leadership support.

Lead SQL Developer – Up to 75K + Hybrid (2 days in office), 15% Pension, Private Healthcare + Microsoft Certifications – Leeds Central

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead SQL Developer to join a growing digital and data function based in central Leeds.

This exciting opportunity will suit a talented data professional with strong experience across SQL Server, ETL, Data warehousing and modern data platform technologies. You will be joining an established data function of 18 professionals supporting a £650 million revenue organisation with over 2,500 employees.

This role combines hands-on engineering, team leadership and strategic decision making, giving you the opportunity to shape the future of the organisation's central data platform.

You will provide technical leadership across a team of BI Developers, DBAs and SQL Developers, working on a range of business-critical projects using the latest Microsoft technologies. The organisation actively encourages innovation, collaboration and knowledge sharing, and you'll have the opportunity to drive projects from concept through to delivery with the support of senior leadership.
