Job summary

NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist to join the Community Learning Disability Team in the London area. The post holder will assess, plan and deliver care, supervise pre-registration students, and provide clinical support to peers and the team leader.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, taking a lead role for your clinical area and ensuring efficient, patient-centred care for adults with learning disabilities across community

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required.
• Experience in community learning disability teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead role in clinical area overseeing whole caseload.
• Assess, manage and deliver SLT care for adults with learning disabilities and communication difficulties.
• Provide supervision for pre-registration students and support team members.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to audits.
