Job summary

The London Borough of Merton is expanding its Speech and Language Therapy Team. We’re offering a full-time specialist SLT role to help lead service development and deliver universal and targeted SLT support in primary schools.

You will work with Educational Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and SEN teams across mainstream and specialist settings, driving evidence-based practice and supporting SEND reform.

Qualifications

• Registered SLT with HCPC (funding for HCPC/RCSLT membership)
• Experience in leadership development and service improvement in schools
• Ability to deliver universal and targeted SLT support in primary settings

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop SLT services focusing on universal and targeted offers in schools
• Collaborate with Educational Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, NHS health therapists, and SEN teams to ensure joined-up care
