Job summary

Merton Council is expanding its Speech and Language Therapy Team and is offering full-time Band 6 opportunities to support pupils in a range of settings, including a primary ARP for pupils with Autism and a PMLD special school. You will join a MDT and work with colleagues across schools in Morden area.

The role focuses on evidence-based practice, clinical autonomy, and opportunities for development, with flexible working arrangements and support for professional fees and development.

Qualifications

• Band 6 SLT role for experienced therapist stepping up from Band 5
• Support pupils across settings including ARP and a PMLD special school

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy to pupils aged 4–19 in mainstream and special school settings as part of a MDT.
• Contribute to service development and adoption of evidence-based practice.
