Job summary

Bluestream People is seeking a diligent Snr Product Assurance Engineer to manage Product and Quality Assurance activities across complex space missions. You will work closely with project and engineering teams to ensure mission assurance for hardware, software and ground segment developments, including in-orbit servicing and manufacturing programmes.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on PA/QA experience in space/aerospace.
• Proven ability to lead assurance activities within project teams.
• Experience with high-reliability systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and a structured approach.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Experience working with national space agencies or institutional customers.
• QMS internal auditor qualification or third-party audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead PA/QA activities within project teams.
• Provide PA/QA support across multiple projects.
• Act as the primary PA lead for assigned projects, delegating work as required.
• Liaise with customer PA/QA representatives and support reviews and audits.
• Support supplier and subcontractor PA/QA activities, including assessments and audits.
• Review materials, parts, and processes against technical and assurance requirements.
• Produce and maintain Product Assurance plans and documentation.
• Witness manufacturing and test activities, including at supplier facilities.
• Maintain quality records and assurance data.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Support assurance inputs to bids and proposals.
• Mentor junior PA staff and review peer work.
