Job summary

Jewish Care is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering nutritious, kosher meals for residents, service users, families and visitors. You will lead food preparation, presentation and food safety in a busy kitchen.

Working within a caring catering team, you will manage resources within budgets, mentor colleagues and ensure menus respect dietary, cultural and kosher requirements while contributing to events and excellent dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a busy kitchen and supervising staff.
• Strong food safety knowledge and hygiene practices.
• Experience handling dietary needs and kosher requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead food preparation and presentation in a busy kitchen.
