Arcus at The Imperial in Bloomsbury, London is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead the kitchen in partnership with the Head Chef. You will work closely with the brigade to maintain exceptional food standards and support the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.

You will supervise kitchen teams, mentor staff, uphold food safety practices and contribute to menu planning and cost control in a busy, modern hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional kitchen environment as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie.
• Confident team player with strong organisational skills.
• Passionate about food quality, consistency and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Assist with the day-to-day management of kitchen operations.
• Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Supervise kitchen teams and support training and development.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness and stock procedures are followed.
• Assist with menu preparation, ordering and cost control.
