Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Sous Chef for the Plough, part of Premium Country Pubs. You will lead a kitchen section, train and motivate your team, and step in for the Head Chef when required. The role celebrates premium food and guest hospitality across branded menus.

You’ll ensure food quality, manage ordering and stock with the Head Chef, and guide your team in health and hygiene compliance while delivering great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sous chef or senior kitchen role.
• Ability to lead a kitchen team and manage a branded menu.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
