Job summary

Incipio Group is seeking a proactive Sous Chef to lead our busy kitchen and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will drive service standards, mentor the team and work closely with the Head Chef to elevate food quality across all dishes.

The role rewards hands-on leadership, calm under pressure and a commitment to consistency, great produce, and strong collaboration with Front of House.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a busy kitchen and delivering high-quality guest experience.
• Hands-on leader who fosters a positive, supportive kitchen environment.
• Strong focus on consistency, quality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team through every service, setting pace, energy and standards.
• Ensure every dish is delivered to a consistently high standard from prep to plate.
• Coach, motivate and develop team with clear direction and feedback.
• Collaborate with Head Chef to raise food and service standards.
• Own kitchen organisation, prep, and service readiness.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and compliance at all times.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, waste management and GP performance.
• Build strong relationships with Front of House to ensure seamless guest experience.
• Take full ownership of kitchen when Head Chef is away.
