The Botanist York are hiring a Sous Chef to join The New World Trading Company family in York. You'll support the Head Chef, lead by example and help deliver consistently outstanding service across busy shifts.

This role emphasises developing the team, maintaining food quality and safety, and contributing to a positive kitchen culture with opportunities to coach and influence service standards.

Qualifications

• Strong culinary skills with a passion for leadership and teamwork.
• Experience as Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie preferred.
• Ability to uphold high standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day leadership of the kitchen.
• Maintain food quality, consistency and presentation standards.
