Lead Solution Architect - AWS Cloud Focused - Remote
Up to £100,000 p/a + performance-related bonuses + bonus.
To apply for this role, candidates must either be Security Cleared or be eligible for Security Clearance up to 'SC' level. This role is remote with occasional travel to London every few weeks to visit the client site.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in designing secure, scalable infrastructures using AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Java-based microservices. You’ll be responsible for shaping technical strategy, leading architecture design, and mentoring teams across cloud transformation projects.
A strong understanding of cloud security best practices, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and event-driven design is essential.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring architectural standards meet business and compliance requirements, optimising performance, and managing cloud costs. Excellent leadership, communication, and hands-on technical skills are critical to success in this position.
Preferred candidates will have: AWS certifications, experience with other cloud platforms (Azure or GCP), and a background in serverless technologies, compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and zero-trust security models.
Additionally, if you have used DevOps tools and are DevOps-focused, that would be a significant advantage.

There is additional funding for learning and development, and you can take time out with 'coaches' for active learning to gain more certifications.
