Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to shape software platforms used by engineers globally. You’ll define architectural direction, mentor teams, and drive scalable, secure cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, and on-prem/cloud-integrated environments.

You’ll influence technical strategy, review designs, and help establish consistent practices in CI/CD, microservices, and modern software delivery lifecycle. This is a hybrid UK-based role with travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering distributed, cloud-based software platforms.
• Strong architectural judgement and ability to influence direction across multiple teams.
• Proven track record of mentoring engineers and guiding technical decisions.
