MDE Consultants Ltd is recruiting an experienced Lead Solar PV Installer for nationwide commercial rooftop projects. The role involves installing electrical systems, wiring, and commissioning on varied roof types, with travel across the UK.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial rooftop Solar PV installation experience.
• Strong understanding of DC cabling, containment & electrical connections.
• Knowledge of roof types & PV mounting systems.
• Ability to read drawings & work independently.
• CSCS Card or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Willingness to travel & stay away 3 to 5 days per week.

Salary: Up to £50,000

Travel: Nationwide projects, staying away 3 to 5 days per week

We're recruiting for an experienced Lead Solar PV Installer to join an established UK contractor specialising in large commercial rooftop Solar PV installations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installing electrical systems on commercial rooftop Solar PV projects.
• DC cable stringing, installation & testing.
• Installing cable containment, trays, trunking & inverter frameworks.
• Electrical connections & basic system commissioning.
• Reading technical drawings & setting out PV systems.
• Working with different roof types & mounting systems.
• Ensuring high standards of health, safety & installation quality.
